Moon Festival Theme

Every holiday or festival has its story or background.  The most
popular story of the Moon Festival is about the Chinese Moon Goddess
- Chang and her husband, Hou Yi (/ho ee/).
Come and hear the story and learn about the traditions of the moon
festival, including eating mooncakes.
We will also watch a video of a performance by The Redwood Empire
Chinese Association in Oakmont in 2019.

Hi everyone, 

I am pleased to announce our club's inaugural members only social  - celebrating Diwali, the Hindu Festival of Lights, presented by club members Vicky and Avtar Kumar.  

Date -  Wednesday, November 20

Time  - 2 to 4 PM 

Place - East Rec 

Come and learn about the history and traditions of this ancient holiday – there will be music, dancing, and food.
